Aquarium Industries are proud to announce that we now carry Moa Island Rainbow Fish
Until recently, freshwater fish from the Torres Strait (between Australia and New Guinea) were largely unknown to the aquarium hobby.
In 2008 ANGFA member Glynn Aland had the opportunity to collect native fish on several Torres Strait Islands. Glynn’s discoveries were printed in ANGFA’s journal Fishes of Sahul, and can also be read in the links below.
One of the fish collected by Glynn was McCullochs Rainbow at Moa Island, and we are pleased to now offer this fish to our customers for the first time. A dwarf rainbow (max size 5-6cm), it is an excellent community fish for small aquaria.
